Job Description:
1. Coordinates with DE team as required and assists in orienting / training new PMs joining UST with UST processes and tools – QMS, PHD, Source Tool.
2. Provides process consultancy to PMs and project teams towards tailoring the processes to suit project need, customizing templates and guidelines, and sharing best practices and learning from other projects.
3. Conducts monthly process reviews / audits of all Joint-Managed / UST-Managed projects including validation of PM self-ratings and performing IQA audits for each project.
4. Verifies on weekly basis that Project Status, Metrics Compliance, Contract Compliance, and Process Compliance at BU level are at 100% Green and if not, raises flags proactively at PM/AM/OM level and tracks action items to closure.
5. Reviews and approves for client submission, key documents prior to project initiation, namely the SOW, PIP, project schedule, and project kick-off deck.
6. Proactively identifies projects headed towards trouble and provides early-warning signals to PM/AM/OM, based on review of project assets and/or audit scores relative to historical benchmark.
7. Establishes the criteria for a project “watch list” (e.g. PM self-rating / Cust satisfaction / GPM variance), evaluates projects on those criteria, publishes the results to management, and provides focused involvement with those projects to move them from the watch list.
8. Assesses capability and effectiveness of current processes; identifies process improvement opportunities and takes forward.
9. Reviews project artifacts such as PMP, CMP, and other client deliverables on request from project teams / AM / OM.
